At this point in time, I have made this site an AU (alternate universe) site. Therefore no one will be able to take on canon characters such as: Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Captain Jack Sparrow, Commadore Norrington, etc. Also there is a current limit of two (2) characters per member.

To ensure a quick approval, make sure you follow the "Character Creation Template."

Before you start posting in character, be sure that your character's biography has been APPROVED. If you post without an approval you will first be verbally warned, and if it takes more than that, you may find yourself unable to RP here.

As a general rule, mostly common sense here, if you are RPing with another character, don't respond for them for lengthy amounds of time. Generally you can be in conversation with them and give few word replies, but if the PC you are playing with OOC:s with "My char wouldn't react like that", then you have to change it. Just use discretion and talk with the other person. Also, you have to get permission from the other player for killing their character. A GM will not kill your character either, unless the player is absent for long months without responding on boards. For any char who leaves for a couple months or so, it is their discretion on what to do with the character.

Everyone can choose an actor or actress, or even a digital game or comic image to be the 'face' of their character. If someone is using a face for their character, that actor/actress/etc is then locked from anyone else using them. You can change your face anytime you wish (as people here like to do every once in a while *veg*), but then the old one is up for grabs. Please list your actor/actress in your Bio. As a general rule, we don't choose the faces of actors or actresses who have been in Pirates of the Caribbean films, however, if there are pics of one of them that are different than the movie, such as Kiera Knightly pics from Domino or Star Wars, which look very different than Elizabeth Swann, that is OK, but you have to ask permission first. Also when creating your Bio, you can't claim relation to anyone from canon Pirates of the Caribbean unless you ask permission.
